Today Zoom apps only work on the the Zoom Desktop Client for Windows, macOS, or Linux. Mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Androids currently do not support Zoom Apps.
The twine for Zoom app is supported on versions 5.9.3 or later. Here is how to check to see if you are on the latest version of Zoom or upgrade your version: Upgrading Zoom to the Latest Version
twine for Zoom is powered by breakout rooms under the hood. As the host you must enable zoom breakout rooms in order to use twine for Zoom. Please note: Only the host needs to do this, participants do not need to have Breakout Rooms enabled.
You can verify that you have breakout rooms enabled by opening your Zoom Meeting and looking for the Breakout Rooms tab in the controls bar.
When initiating a zoom meeting from the zoom desktop app you can check to see if you have the Apps button enabled. This will show within a zoom meeting and will also show within the Zoom desktop client.
If you do not see the Apps button in your Zoom desktop client it could be that the Zoom Apps quick launch button has not been enabled in your Zoom Settings. To update this login on your browser to https://zoom.us/profile/setting, click the Zoom Apps tab and enable "Zoom Apps Quick Launch Button".
If you do not see the Zoom Apps section it could be that your Zoom administrator has disabled Zoom Apps or requires pre approval of Zoom apps. This is not uncommon and something we can help with!
